This is fine. I think people are just saying it contradicts what blink has previously said. Cheshire Cat was the debut album, and Neighborhoods was #6 (represented by the addition of the 6th arrow on the smiley). But there's always the chance that Nine isn't even referencing being a 9th album. We'll just need to wait to hear blink comment on it.
I wish this had a more substantial bridge than just a repeat of the chorus. That riff at the beginning of the "bridge" is pretty cool. Would've liked them to expand on that. That's my only complaint though, I love this song overall.
Can still get to nine (multiple ways) even if Neighborhoods is six, Cali is seven, Deluxe is 8, this is 9. No real contradiction depending on what they consider a release.
Yep, California deluxe as #8 also solves it. I am hoping the band will comment on it in an interview soon.
played exactly 1 second of the new song at full volume in a quiet part of my office they all heard "SHE'S A GIRL"
I wanna cut a fan made video of Kylo and Rey to Darkside. “She’s a girl” is the only part holding me back. Seems it should be Rey singing to Kylo
I was really going with the DED theory but thinking of the history of the band Buddha definitely makes sense considering how important it was.
