As much as I have a soft spot for the guy that influenced a lot of my life, we all know exactly what it would be like if Tom rejoined Blink. Why would anyone actually prefer that? Haha

 

I could be looking way too deep into it, but when Matt was telling Chicago to stay home he really hesitated to say blink-182. I don’t know though. I feel like Tom will come back one day when it’s right for everyone. I’d love to see Mark, Tom, and Travis just take their time with their friendship more so and then go back to making music on their terms with respect and understanding for one another. They’re not kids anymore.

 

Mark and Travis have been interacting with Tom on social for like, two years at least now, it's a good healthy thing. Doesn't mean Tom is coming back.

 

I dont think anyone said he was, we were just saying what we always say.

Tom will come back at some point, but only on his terms.

 

I think modern blink has to kinda go away for that to happen. I wouldnt mind a +44 tour at some point EVER... Especially just live music again in general right now haha.

Eeeek....don’t like it. I just don’t like the kind of sound.

I wouldn't say I like it any more or less than the original

 

I like the version featuring Matt Skiba better.

 

I mean he's still in this one and I like the first pre chorus when all three of their voices are going. I definitely like Matt's outro part better than Miley though and wouldn't replace the album version, but it's not a bad alternate take on it.

It definitely isn't finished, those harmonies are mixed all weirdly. I definitely prefer the original, cause Miley's takes are definitely subpar and overly pitch corrected. Still cool to hear though, and it was not at all flawed in concept.

 

I wonder why they would just scrap a Miley Cyrus collab, that's a pretty big get isn't it? Maybe they just genuinely didn't like how it turned out


Also I never thought I would hear Matt Skiba and Miley Cyrus harmonize

 

Perhaps because Miley's album plans got thrown away too. It was supposed to be out late last year
