Better than California without a doubt, Matt's voice feels integrated much better on this one. No Heart is my favorite song but I cant help but wonder if its because the way the guitar kicks in reminds me of STFTK

My wife works at a store post goes into all the time. She says he’s ridiculously nice. That got us listening to his music which we weren’t familiar with. Dude’s got the gift. Would love for him and blink to collaborate

 

Pin the Grenade deserves to be the biggest blink single in forever. The song is perrct

 

Blame It On My Youth is pretty easily my least favorite song on this album

 

I still like BIOMY but in retrospect I'm not sure it prepared me for the album

 

Darkside is what got me excited for the album. Even on the first listen, the first 10 or so seconds of it you could tell they were finally letting Matt Skiba loose.

 

BIOMY was good single imo since it allowed me to be absolutely blown away by how good the album is.

 

I enjoy the second half of the album way more than the first. Really love everything from IRWIHY on. Overall, definitely like this better than California - and I enjoyed California.

Nothing about this album reminds me of imagine dragons

 

BIOMY is good but I still find it weird it was chosen as the first single.

 

Heaven is the only song I don’t like.

BIOMY was an effective first single to let everyone know this wasn’t just going to be California Pt 2 (or would that be 3 counting deluxe?).

 

I think all of the singles work way better in context, but Darkside, BIOMY, and GD are all jams.

Happy Days finally clicked with me today, and Heaven was my least favorite but I can’t get it out of my head.

 

I think the singles were good choices. It’s been discussed before that the album is darker/more skiba-influences than expected. Only makes sense that more traditional/accessible blink songs like HD and DS were singles. Agreed with the above that BIOMY showed the album would still have variety.
