Who's defending anyone? My only point is there are supporters of the website who are incredibly critical of Neck Deep and those who support them, both within this thread and the website as a whole, and those things are both true.

With that, its 5pm and I'm no longer getting paid to argue on the internet.

I mean first, I don’t support Chorus posting news about any problematic band and have been involved in/seen discussions with Jason for years about how we can continue to better the site.

Second, as a member of the community for over a decade, I find the space that’s provided here incredibly valuable in terms of providing voices and safe spaces for people within the “scene”, whatever that may mean anymore. I support the site because I respect Jason and the way he chooses to run it.

I don’t even know why I’m responding to such a bad faith argument. If you find it hypocritical for me to give money to someone I’ve interacted with regularly, both antagonistically and as a friend, for the past 11 years and still call out abusers and problematic people in the scene, so be it. I’m pretty comfortable supporting the site and continuing to be a voice for accountability on here. Fuck Neck Deep and their supporters

 

The fact that this dude is 28 is mind boggling. Grow the fuck up. I don't think you even know what groupthink is.

I've been apart of this community for over ten years and have NEVER financially supported this site. Mostly because I don't have the money, but the fact that was a counterargument blows my mind. Ever since the allegations I've written the band off and fuck anyone who defends them just be devil's advocate or whatever that argument was supposed to be.

Also the "depressed piece of shit" comment makes you a creep, I dont even have to point to supporting a bunch of abusers.

For a not even close to being sold out show in Toronto, I'm shocked they haven't dropped the prices for it to fill it up a bit more. Lawn tickets are still going for $100+ face value.

 

Lawn tickets are sold out. Those are resale tickets. Considering the lawn holds 10,000 alone it hasn’t sold bad at all.

 

According to TM they're not resale, just basic standard tickets.

And I thought Ridgefield prices were insane lol Fuck whoever chose to charge this much for tickets.

 

Yeah, it's pretty rough going up here in Canada for any show to be honest. Budweiser Stage is among the higher cost ones.

 

I think last time they played here seats in the 200s were like 80 bucks fees included or something along those lines? kinda wild seeing those prices practically doubled now
