Blink-182 officially have the number one album in the country.

After nine weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart, Drake’s Views is dethroned from the top slot by Blink-182’s new set, California. The latter debuts at No. 1 with 186,000 equivalent album units earned in the week ending July 7, according to Nielsen Music. Of that sum, 172,000 were in traditional album sales — the third-largest sales week for a rock album in 2016.

    Well deserved.

This is huge for our music scene. Congrats to blink for sure. Albums a lot better than I anticipated and they should be seriously proud

Somebody had to finally knock Views out of the top spot; glad it was blink. Honestly, Views was a bit of a let-down for me after If You're Reading This It's Too Late. I don't know if Drake will ever top that record.

    Love California though.

I wish I could say something but silence is fine.

Loving this new album more than I should. I can't wait for them to announce the European tour.

20,000 more units than Neighbourhoods sold in 2011. That really says something.

    Might be Spider-Man...

I was wondering if it would sell more than Neighborhoods did in its first week, really happily surprised too, I love this record.

Is that pure sales or does it include streaming equivalents? If it's the former, that's highly impressive.

Drake's streaming numbers are ridiculous. 77k this week. And I think 1500 streams is one album equivalent?

Faith in humanity restored for now. Crazy to think Matt Skiba has the number one album too. Well deserved though.

    Aaaachem!

The record is rapidly losing replay value for me, mostly due to the very bland lyrics, but happy for them all nonetheless.

Im only really skipping over kings and satellites and only thing that matters sometimes, but i understand why this might be happening for you. Still think the replay is way better than neiborhoods, at least for me.

Yeah, I only listened to Neighborhoods and Dogs two or three times and have not revisited either since the week they came out. - but I've listened to California a couple dozen times already.
