I'm really glad this album doesn't suck, otherwise buying that signed vinyl/drumhead bundle would've bummed me out. I've only listened to the album a few times, but I'm digging it. Bored to Death and Los Angeles are my early favorites. I looked at the post count on the band thread and decided I'm not even gonna step in ha.
I was bummed at first I didn't get a vinyl for display purposes but seems quite a few have been received damaged so I'm quite happy with the signed cd haha. Well worth it for me as well.
Finally gave it a listen and it's pretty good, but I found myself getting bored halfway through some of the songs.
Just a day or two ago the billboard looked like was just a little over 100k. It's gone up quite a bit in a few days.
The album was great at first listen, so I had concerns about the lasting value. Now, I'm still listening the fuck out of this. Always starting with "She's Out Of Her Mind". If you liked Enema or Take Off, I don't get that you don't like this record.
But it sounds nothing like those albums as a whole. Not nearly as exciting as those were Or rather, it's an extremely diluted and watered down version of a past sound they have no business chasing at this stage
