Love the Skiba influence. So good

 

The new song is really bad, and Can't Get You More Pregnant is one of the worst song titles I've ever heard.

I definitely thought about Big Yellow Taxi, I figured it was a purposeful reference

I'd agree that Parking Lot does sound like a b-side. Is it a song that Skiba and Blink worked on when they just joined forces? Makes sense that this is part of a Deluxe California. I'm happy to have so much material from Blink 182 after a long wait(s).

 

To be honest if I love just 5 songs from the deluxe I'd be happy. When bands put out this much in such a short time, from what I can think of it doesn't go so well. Of course you have Green Day's trilogy. SOAD's double album definitely could've been condensed to one. I wasn't into a lot of The Early November's triple album. If I have 18-20 songs from blink I can say I love in less than a year, I feel like I couldn't ask for more really.

 

I liked all the songs on California, except the 2 joke songs. 14-16 is great. Plus Hey I'm sorry is a good song too.

Also think it's cool to see them have an acoustic version of Bored To Death. If you're going to do a deluxe version you have to have a cover or an acoustic version somewhere.

 

I loved how they sung the chorus when they did Bored live. When they did those UK performances, one of the DJ's was like "acoustic album maybe?" so I was hoping that put it in their head to put an acoustic song on the deluxe. So glad they did. I hope they did it in the style of those performances, I'll probably love it regardless haha.

 

Nice little song, not sure I really have strong emotions either way

Definitely like a lot more than Parking Lot, not extremely provoked by it but it's a solid song.
