God the fucking production. You know how many times I could hear the auto tune clipping matts voice? A ton
I saw these guys Sat. night, and it was awesome. They sounded great. I don't listen to ADTR, but they were good. All Time Low went over their time, so the venue people were clearing off their equipment just as they started Dear Maria, and they kept playing. By the end, it was just the drummer playing with a snare and kick, the guitarist, and the singer jumping around with no mic. It was kinda cool ha. I know this thread is dead, but judging by the post count, I never venture into the Blink thread.
I left the Blink thread for a while because it got very hostile towards anyone who did think this album was the second coming of Blink, but strangely when I took a look a few days ago I saw way more negative comments of this album overall, kinda surprised me
Ya I just feel like I'm probably not as hardcore as the people in that thread ha. I enjoy the album a good amount, but it's pretty by-the-numbers. I've cooled off on it since it dropped.
I'm with ya. I definitely enjoy it, but I don't really listen too often and still feel like they played it safe overall
I'll check that thread every now and then and after reading like half a page I'm usually like "oh yeah this is why I don't come in here"
Yeah, that blink thread took a turn some time ago, not sure when, but I never bother peeking at it. Noticing some old trends beginning to creep back into these forums. I hope they do another (albeit more scaled down) tour in 2017. Selfishly, since I was forced to miss both WA dates, I'd like another shot to see this iteration of the band live.
yeah, the main thread has its good days and bad days. i'm in there a lot less often than i used to be, so maybe it's better off now? haha
This album had such a bad lasting value. Only track I'm going back to is "Hey, I'm Sorry" and that's not even on the album.
I still really enjoy this album. Lots of negative comments in this thread, am I the only fan of this album? lol
I still very much enjoy it. It's a total 'summer' album for me, though. Now that it's fall here in MA, I don't play it as often.
I still enjoy it. Don't listen as often but by no means has that changed my opinion. Skiba remains the best.
Was a sunny day so put this on after listening to just TBS and ETID the last few weeks. Cynical, Bored To Death, Left Alone and San Diego are still all in the upper echelon of blink songs for me. Enjoy Only Thing and Rabbit Hole a lot more after taking a break from it too.
Guess most people are Finally coming out oF their honeymoon period and realizing how Forgettable CaliFornia really was. I Find myselF skipping through more than 3/4ths oF it.
It will probably be mostly a summer album for me, but except for Neighborhoods generally all blink's albums are summer albums to me lol. Still love it.
