Yeah... I enjoyed Nine quite a bit but I’m ready for Tom to come back.

 

I wonder if they're working with Chris Brown now

Album full of Stay Together For The Kids-esque songs

 

Nine is so fucking good and it makes me sad to see it get little respect among the readers here. The second half in particular is as strong as any album since untitled.

Really looking forward to hearing more.

Did they ever address the whole XXXTentacion situation ever, or are they just getting posted here still because it is blink-182

 

It seems like it was in forums, especially on the day of release. But since then I feel like I’ve seen people just dumping on it. Might just be me. Very happy to be wrong, if so.

Was there a more forgettable release in 2020? It was a good album but they did a really terrible job promoting it. They never did a tour in support of it and stopped pushing singles to radio fairly quickly.

The enema tour was such weird timing when they had a new record on the way.

 

Darkside is definitely in my top blink songs. Super addictive

 

FWIW, I still hear "Hated You" on local alt radio pretty regularly.

 

It’s still in the top 15 on alt radio. Been there for a long time now. (16 weeks on the chart.)

 

Idk what stopped pushing singles means. Youth was on there for a while as high as 10, and pretty much as soon as that dropped off Hated You was released and is still performing well

 

So is blink-182 Mark and Travis now, and Matt is just a session/touring guy or something? Matt is never on their collabs, and most of the time we see them at this point it's just Mark and Travis.

For the sake of having a dissenting opinion here I guess, I have no interest in Tom coming back. I hope they keep Matt, but it doesn't seem like he's that important in the band for the reasons stated.
