They performed “Bored to Death” live for the first time along with “Brohemian Rhapsody.” You’ll also find a video interview with the band below. Expand - View Original
No, you're getting two joke songs that are short in length: "Cynical" (1:55) "Bored to Death" (3:55) "She's Out of Her Mind" (2:42) "Los Angeles" (3:03) "Sober" (2:59) "Built This Pool" (0:16) "No Future" (3:45) "Home Is Such a Lonely Place" (3:21) "Kings of the Weekend" (2:56) "Teenage Satellites" (3:11) "Left Alone" (3:09) "Rabbit Hole" (2:35) "San Diego" (3:12) "The Only Thing That Matters" (1:57) "California" (3:10) "Brohemian Rhapsody" (0:30) Total length: 42:36 Also, don't forget they've also mentioned releasing an EP later this year too.
I'm glad they made a surprise visit, Red Hot Chili Peppers had to cancel at the last minute cuz Anthony had stomach pains and had to go to hospital. Weezer played an extended set instead. Seems like fans are livid towards Kroq anyway. =P
The woman interviewing Blink could have done wayyyyyy better. Doesn't seem like it takes much to get a job at KROQ these days.
Correct. Also confused WMAA with ATST videos and had no sensible direction throughout the entirety of the conversation.
She'd even fail an open book test with those cheat sheets haha. I mean, she would've done a better job asking the same stock questions about touring, the new album, playing the Weenie Roast, etc. What do I know though? She's employed by one of the biggest rock stations in the country and I just do a random music podcast haha
"There's something about yoooou that I just can't put my finger in." Love it. And that riff is killer too.
Am I the only one who thinks they sounded really good live? The harmonies were on point, and Skiba sounds great during his solo parts.
Feldmann said "Cynical" is a classic and/or all-timer and yet it's only 1:55. However, Mark said a lot of the tempos are Dude Ranch-esque so that would explain why the majority of the song lengths are so short.
When I hear two jokes songs like 'Built This Pool' and 'Brohemian Rhapsody,' I picture Mark running for President and having a campaign slogan like "Let's Make Blink-182 Fun Again." It's clear Mark wants to bring back the early spirit of the band. If Tom was in the band still, there's no way that these two songs would be on the record.
