Wishing Well to me is the weirdest since Mark said that song is "all Tom"

 

But Skiba kills not now live

 

And it's about Tom leaving and coming back to Blink.

 

Is that like confirmed what it's about? Lyrically it just sounds like typical AVA style inspirational lyrics, I never really had an urge to dive into the meaning of those.

It's actually the only song I don't really want to see Matt play but that's just cause I don't think it sounds great with him on it. It's a blink song so it doesn't bother me that much if they play it though. Not Now on the other hand, I'll be bummed if they ever don't play it cause Matt does it great justice. Best I've heard it sound was this tour IMO.

 

I believe Tom confirmed it around the release of neighborhoods

Has it been confirmed that Hearts All Gone is about Tom? I seem to remember Mark or Tom saying there was a song on the album about Tom.

Also conspiracy theory of mine is that "Love is Dangerous" was either suppose to be a song for the AVA Love album that didn't make the cut or Tom wanted a song that had Love in it that he could use to help promote the Love album.

 

"She's Out Of Her Mind" chart run has officially begun. It entered the Alternative top 50 at the last spot today. I'm betting on a #8 peak.

 

Wasn't their a theory back then that Wishing Well was some sort of Tom's reflection on leaving blink and regretting it?

I hadn't listened to California in a while, but i'm currently on vacation in the south of Spain listening to it poolside and damn, this record is tailor-made to listen to when it's hot and sunny!

 

Saw these dudes last night for the first time. What a blast! Voice was sore from screaming the lyrics all night. I would see them once a year if I could.

Dipped out of the top 50 already...

 

Yeah I think they waited way too long to release a 2nd single and now that they did there is no hype around it, or them anymore.

Oh well at least they had a #1 album for a week and BTD charted very very well. Something to build off of for the next album.

Ah. I didn't change it over to "Alternative" after clicking the link. I just assumed it linked right to it.

 

I mean, they just released it, and quietly. Album is still selling well. Will probably push the single when the tour is over and things have settled a bit from that.

I of course have zero insider information, so I'm sure I'm off. haha. But, I could see them waiting to really push the single until the deluxe is announced. Maybe they'll announce it in the next few weeks or something. Who knows.

 

the sooner i can get my grubby little hands on that deluxe edish, the better!
