I'm really curious how the reception of this album will be 5 years from now. I'm also willing to be if Tom rejoined at some point that they would completely ignore this album in setlists even though it's been successful

 

For sure, just because Tom wouldn't be able to learn the songs.

 

They would ignore it except for BTD, which was too big of a hit.
I am still hoping he won't be back. I want them to explore the sound of Los Angeles, San Diego and Left Alone more in possible future releases.

I watched a good part of the Pursuit of Tone Documentary about Tom and I liked it. The guy is passionate and still one of my childhood idols. He seems like a nice guy here. But I think it's best to let blink behind for him.

 

I don't think he'll be back but if he was there's no way in hell he'd play BTD

 

In my opinion, blink without Tom isnt the same, but if Tom came back to blink it wouldn't be the same (as before he left). I'm screwed either way.

 

I'm not sure if this has been discussed but in a hypothetical situation where Mark left the band instead of Tom do you think it would've been more or less successful?

 

The only one he could MAYBE pull off is BTD, and it wouldn't be as good

 

I would think he's done, and not coming back. Any hypothetical is moot. But do it up if you must. :)

Obviously it would depend on who was replacing Mark but either way I think without any type of producer to help pull Tom back into reality it would have been less successful.

 

If Tom does ever come back I think this album would be ignored minus possibly, and sadly, Built This Pool. Kind of like how Neighborhoods and DED is getting ignored now. They have enough music from older albums plus any new album they would put out to fill the void.

 

She's Out of Her Mind "music video" is out. Just a bunch of tour footage with the song being played over it. Not sure if it's official or not

In that case Tom would have announced, in a great online ceremony, the merging of blink, ava and bcr to one project. No replacement for Mark.

I think you guys nailed it with Starting Line and Dangerous Summer. I don't think I can beat those straight off the bat. Unless we just do voice only. But they won't be best as far as vox/bass combo

There was a huge drug addict/in an out of jail guy with the name Justin bullock in my high school. Every time I see you post I get irritating flashes of his annoying face lol.

 

Mike Herrera would be the only option to replace Mark. Seems obvious to me lol.
