Back when Travis snap chatted the songs they were rehearsing for the tour, 3(5) songs from California were in there. Bored to Death, Rabbit Hole, and She's Out Of Her Mind were on there plus Built This Pool and Brohemian Rhapsody. Do you guys think that's all we're gonna get or maybe more? I hope there's at least one or two more. Maybe Sober, San Diego, Cynical or Los Angeles? Would definitely be okay with putting one of those in before Rabbit Hole.

I love the post-chorus to Kings of the Weekend so much. Travis' rim clicks + Mark's bass tone/chord progression + his vocals "until Monday mornin' strikes uhgehn."

It's one of my favorite moments on the album.

I'm now realizing they've basically got no break between these one offs and the tour. So I guess my dreams are unlikely.

How's that even possible if you like the other stuff?

Really hoping to hear them play San Diego in San Diego.

FUCKIN SAVAGES IN THAT FUCKIN BOX Prestigious

Hopefully they kept a few surprises. I know She's Out Of Her Mind is rumored to be the next single, and Rabbit Hole wasn't an official single. I assume they'd have at least three official singles (Home seems ripe for a single) unless the third one didn't come out til after the tour was over? I hope there's more than 3 on the setlist (not counting the joke songs).

To be fair it feels really relatable for me right now in addition to how much I love it haha.

The record is great, no doubt about it.

I was hoping for some faster songs sprinkled in but I'm happy with this overall.

Wonder how many songs they wrote that with that uptempo like Brohemian Rhapsody. Didn't really like how it was basically thrown away like that.

If I end up loving the album which is very likely, what Alkaline Trio album should I check out? Haven't really heard anything other than the songs "This Addiction" and "Time to Waste".

People are probably gonna tell you Crimson. My favorite is Good Mourning, that's a really really solid album front to back.

From Here To Infirmary was my first album and I don't think it's a bad place to start. That or Good Mourning. In either case you can work forwards and backwards, I went back and all the older stuff became classics or you might find you prefer the more polished stuff as you go forwards.

Let's hold our breath until we disappear

I think I would suggest Good Mourning as an introduction to Alkaline Trio.

You're going to get 10 different answers. Just start from the beginning and work your way through.

I know i'm in the minority, but their self titled, Maybe I'll Catch Fire, Goddamnit, and Remains are my favorites. I love Trio, but I could never get into Crimson (besides Mercy Me and Sadie).

My Friend Peter is my favorite song by them.

I like everything they've put out but I would love to hear Mark and Matt singing on a record like the first three you mentioned

Still not listening to this album until Friday but I definitely second Good Mourning for starting out listening to Alkaline Trio

Good Mourning really is what started me on Alkaline Trio. That and their song "radio" from Maybe I'll catch fire. But you should also check out their latest, My Shame is True. It's a very good album.

    SPOILER ALERT:

Couldn't resist downloading the album early. After 3-4 listens, I throughly enjoyed it. Rabbit Hole and No Future are my least favorite. Beyond that there are a lot of solid summer jams and some unexpected surprises that almost don't even sound like Blink, in a good way. Highlights: Cynical, Los Angeles, Home Is Such a Lonely Place, Kings of the Weekend, San Diego and California. Blink is back!

Los Angeles would be killer. I even tweeted mark that they need to add that to the set list

On first listen, my favorites are Cynical, Bored, No Future, Home Is, Left Alone, San Diego, and California.

Wow, I am actually really enjoying the record as a whole, and I can tell I'll be spinning it all summer. THAT is classic blink. There's some throwback stuff and some very interesting directions on the album that really impressed me!
