Yeah I may have to leave the thread. If it leaks, the only way I hear it early is if they send my download early or my preorder comes early. That first listen is popping the cd in my car. No Future can definitely hold me for a week.

 

I just listened to Cynical one time, that's it for me.

 

Meh...now you have me thinking otherwise. Maybe I should stick to the original plan and wait it out. But then again I already gave them money for the CD twice already with the pre-order and VIP package. I just dislike the fact others have heard it and there is new blink sitting on the internet and I'm not jamming the shit out of it.

 

That's how I feel about it. I totally regret clicking the Cynical clip, because it sounded amazing and I definitely don't want this rip to be my first experience with an opener song. I need to do it properly, with the full album coming after it.

 

I want to hear this live with all of my being but I can't imagine doing those vocals every other night for 2 1/2 or 3 I guess depending on how far the extend the tour, months.

 

I'm actually a little blown away by how fantastic Skiba is on this. He not only leads but he just hoists "Cynical" on his back and carries it. Love the urgency and passion in his vocal.

Yeah exactly, I listened to that one clip and was like "fuuuuck that can't be my first listen" haha. But good news is my hype is just higher knowing that "what's the point of saying sorry now" line is on the album! But I'm fully waiting til I get it in an official capacity. Two months since they announced the album went by pretty quick. The four songs they released can definitely suffice for a week.

 

Cynical straight into Bored to Death is a diabolical start to the album

 

Also, I didn't realize Patrick Stump had song writing credit on a couple of songs (Sober, San Diego)
