@bradsonemanband its probably far too late for this, but a cool compilation idea would be if we all tried to make what we think each song on California will sound like based on the title.

 

I was so not a fan of when some band did that with the "what's the point of saying sorry now" clip lol. But I think that was just a cheap way of trying to get views. I'm sure this forum would do more justice to an idea like that

 

It would be interesting to hear people's interpretations of what songs may sound like.

 

Isn't it basically people writing their own versions with the track titles attached to them? Just call it an original comp inspired by blink.

 

I would guess the "low profile" means the ones with shorter legs that sits closer to the ground, but I could see most venues not really caring much and allowing normal lawn chairs.

Anyone else been reading on the sub about how badly VIP attendees were being treated? Sucks that some people dropped hundreds of dollars to meet them and got treated like that. Meh.

Agreed. However, I once went to a NFG concert where you'd get clearance to the meet 'n greet if you bought a t-shirt, which I thought it was reasonable.

(Steve Klein and Cyrus Bolooki were hanging out outside the venue after the show anyway, though)

 

that's totally reasonable. if you're planning on buying a shirt anyway, then that is an awesome bonus.

This x 1000. Paying money to meet or hang out with someone is weird. Just because I like your art doesn't mean I want to pay for some small talk or a picture.

Even before people started complaining about it, after sitting on it a while I'm kind of glad I didn't snag meet and greets. I think they're disgusting actually which is why I never did one, but in the moment I was figuring it'd be years before I'd ever get to exchange words with Matt again, and I still figure the same, but he's given me some of the most awesome moments of my life for free already. It wouldn't have been worth it.

 

I heard Travis invited RiceGum to roast all the VIP members. They're pissed AF bro.

You are correct. Basically they whine that they don't like the VIP merch (were you expecting more then Tshirts a poster and stuff like that?) and that you are asked not to ask for autographs (I can sort of understand this but at the same time your package doesn't list autograph don't expect one. If you get one great if not you're still getting a damn photo with them which is more then some can say)

These guys are bigger whiners then Stephen curry

 

I'm actually way more interested in what would be considered a "high profile" lawn chair.

Ohhh yeah, so what's the VIP merch? I got the lowest tier just for soundcheck and early entry, I can at least look forward to that. I see poster and vip badge with travis on it. Is that it?

Poster is only for VIP packages with meet and greet.

Soundcheck VIP gets the laminate, a sticker, and a small zipper bag.

 

Good thing someone gifted me the meet and greet one lol

 

Do you know how much either of those packaged cost? Those sound check VIP gifts are garbage.
