Why do so many people dislike Hearts All Gone? I don't get it

 

I love it, its in my top 3 on Neighborhoods.

Wishing Well and Snake Charmer need more love on those lists

 

My thing with Snake Charmer is I love the instrumentals but those lyrics take me out of the song, they are just so cringey and bad I can't connect with it.

 

I gave it a go lol

 

I don't dislike it. But I'll try be subjective.
It just felt like one of those blandish Hoppus songs that I could write. A bit one dimensional. I felt the same about dogs eating dogs title track.
Just wasn't as strong as Heart stops beating title track that's of a similar style by Marky

 

I remember when neighborhoods first came out everyone raved over hearts all gone. Nostalgia goggles??

 

I think it's why i didn't like Rabbit Hole as much as I did. I don't like the fast songs.
And Mark and Feldy hyped it on his pod pretty highly

It's still a 7.5/10
BTD is 9/10
Hearts is a 6 for me, 7 with the intro

 

I just feel like Neighborhoods lacks energy and that song was the only glimpse of fast, punk blink on that record

 

I actually like it more without the intro. It just kind of drags for me.

 

Yeah, but that doesn't make it a good song

I've been playing guitar along to their whole catalog while consuming beers since 6pm ET. Helllllloooooo 8th grade.

 

All black. I am having a family friend do it, and he was gonna do all of that for a $100, so I figured go with the black and keep it cheap. Haha

 

What about 'Natives'?

 

It had energy, but it's hard to feel with Tommy boy's garbage vocals.

 

Natives is good but Tom does bring it down a notch or two. One of my favorite Mark choruses though
