    Seriously, can I have some?

This is my hope too. I was surprised in a mostly boring CD that they had such a good song.

That didn't even make the standard record!

Like I was telling you the other day in DM, I sometimes forget there was a 'standard' version. I always felt the deluxe of Neighborhoods was the real album, the other is irrelevant

I'll never understand how not only did Even if She Falls not make the standard record, but they never played the song live. It's the closest the album comes to pre-break up Blink. It should have been a single.

I agree on both counts, although the band has always stated that view the deluxe album as the actual album. I wonder if/why the label made them have a standard and deluxe.

As far as them playing it live, I agree but they only played 5 songs from that album live (Ghost, Up All Night, After Midnight, Hearts All Gone and Wishing Well) consistently. I think they played Natives once or twice during the 10 year Untitled tour but don't think they played anything else.

Hot take: I think Skiba would kill this song live

    Prestigious Prestigious

I'm glad to say I've seen all 6 songs they've played from that album live

Also the deluxe/standard thing is totally a label thing and the "deluxe" version is the real album

Agree. It's not like the California deluxe, Neighborhoods Deluxe= Only relevant Neighborhoods

  12. Me as I read thru this series of comments

    lol, idiot.

Jesus, who the fuck IS this guy??????

Oh, well he's got a point here. What a level headed individual.

    And separately:

Mark went on record before the album came out in 2011 that the label made them have a standard and a deluxe so they just pulled a few tracks off the finished album and called it the standard edition. It's so NOT canon, i don't even own a copy of the standard and I'm a middle-of-the-road passionate collector.

Same, I only own the deluxe. And I'm the type that bought California and it's deluxe, all versions of TOYPJ, and keeps all my blink albums in a row neatly on a book shelf lol.

Ps. Truelovewaits is a cool dude give him a break :)

This album has not aged well. Haven't listened to it in a couple years so I wanted to know what my vote is going for. I used to like it enough even though I found it boring, but I don't know if it's because Of California or what but I can't get through the whole album straight. It slugs on and on. I can listen to bits, certain songs that I like at a time only.

I think Dogs Eating Dogs holds up wayy better than Neighborhoods. Theres some really, really good songs on there, and some songs that could be fucking great with a little bit more direction.

Ghost, Natives, Up All Night, After Midnight, Hearts All Gone, Wishing Well, Even If She Falls, When I Was Young, Dogs Eating Dogs. These are the handful of songs from Neighborhoods and Dogs Eating Dogs I wouldn't obliterate from existence if given the chance. The EP had promise for those two songs but the others were dull like Boxing Day, sounded like pathetic Angels songs like Disaster, and for the love of the gods never feature a rap verse in a blink-182 song ever again.

Couldn't disagree more about the EP. Dogs Eating Dogs is an absolute highlight for the band, and Boxing Day is great. Disaster, I'll give you - I don't really like that one, but I think that's probably due to lack of an outside influences on the band. When I Was Young is great and Pretty Little Girl, yeah okay the rap is a bit out of place, but rest of the song is great.

I'd take those 5 over California, any day of the week.

I agree with you about Dogs Eating Dogs and When I Was Young, though I wouldn't call either of them 'highlights'. Still good though.
