I'll be with you the whole way.

It's almost midnight here, and I don't know how I'm gonna find sleep with this news.

The fact that Mark hates playing new music before it's released kinda makes me think they're dropping this on Friday.

Yeah matt sings the first lines and then Mark sings the second set.
That might be reversed but I definitely think they share the first chorus at least

    I am a haunted house. I'm superstitious.

    I absolutely LOVE the lyrics.

"And it’s a long way back from seventeen" - That's a good way to use that "age + something" routine that Tom overdone in his lyrics.

Love it. That was never in doubt really. Massive chorus. Band sounds re-energised.

Matts vocals are so similar to Marks I feel like he maybe just shouldn't sing leads since it's not really adding much of that sort of complementary contrast to Mark like Tom's vocals once did, but for the same reason it doesn't cause any huge sonic clash or make this blink song sound like alk3, this song sounds like a blink song, and a good one. So hopefully that'll be true for the whole of Matt Skiba's Blink-182 vocals which is a thing now, and apparently we'll all hopefully find out tomorrow with the album release.

Hello from Germany. It is close to midnight here. I am alone at my place, packing boxes, because I will move to a new apartment soon. Since last fall my girlfriend works in another city and I only see her on weekends. So I am alone, packing boxes. I take a break, look at my phone. NEW BLINK.

I turned the song on, and turned all the lights off here. Just listenting. Aside from the question if it's a good or bad song, I am listenting to new blink, while preparing my move. I associate a lot of blink songs with important situations in my life. I guess now BTD will forever be associated with this new apartment.

So is it good? YES, it is fucking awesome. "Landscapes" my ass, this one here is so much more feeling than 80% of Neighborhoods and AvA. The drums are killer. Does Matt sound a bit like a deep-voiced Tom in the chorus?

I am from Munich, Germany. But as maybe some know, Los Angeles became my second home since 2014. If the album really would be called "California", I'd totally dig that.

    My two cents.

    Love you guys @chorusblinkthreadfamily.

Well like a sucker I went ahead and bought two tickets just in case. I'm sure I can get rid of them if all it ends up being just Travis playing. I would still love to see just Travis but we already had plans to be at X-games that day. I'll adapt it it's blink though.

The production here has a lot to do with them sounding so similar, I believe. He's much easier to differentiate on Alkaline Trio material.

  14. Yeah this sounds great. I'm just having some trouble deciphering Mark from Matt, but on each subsequent listen I can pick up on their different voices. I'm sure it will be easier with the rest of the album as well.

If the label put this responsibility in the hands of an intern, then they deserve what they got. Song releases/Album releases don't happen every day, especially for artists as big as Blink.

Well, this is interesting if true:

If so, it makes sense why Tom said he was still in the band during the Rolling Stone interview today.

This quote pisses me off. You couldn't tell your close associates/business partners yet you can brag about it for the past 6 months?
