gotta say, I think Cynical and SD is a great final matchup. On first listen of California, 2 out of probably 4 songs that really stuck out to me

 

It's really cool that the vote is so evenly split and that there isn't one clear winner

 

Right? It was like that for BTD/San Diego too.

I am more amazed how many people voted today. It's almost double an average day for this

 

There are a few California-era blink songs I think are near San Diego in quality, but even fewer come close to Cynical. And the ones I like most were mostly ousted pretty early, though I didn't vote in most of the rounds.

 

San Diego for me

 

Cynical down by two. This could be it.

 

I know its just a silly game but I'll be bummed if one of my favorite California-era songs loses to one of the songs I enjoy the least haha.

 

Lol i think we have opposite views of these two songs.

This has been an amazing tournament with lots of close calls, blow outs, and everything in between. But; San Diego is our champion!!

I want to take a moment to thank each and every one of you for voting every day and playing this game. It has been fun for me, as much as I hope for you. I truly appreciate it and am glad you all seemed to enjoy this random idea so much.

Since it was so well received and kept people talking on the thread I'd love to do another in the future with the songs from Untitled, TOYPAJ, or Neighborhoods, or any album really.

Personally I was pulling for Cynical...and Bored To Death. I was glad Last Train Home and Good Old Days made it as far as they did, and I did want 6/8 to beat Hey I'm Sorry and make it to round 2 at least. Which it almost did

I'm going to like this just so i can un-like it.

 

I won't participate if we do Neighborhoods. I find most of the songs to be utter garbage and haven't listened to them in years. My votes wouldn't mean anything. I would just be choosing one title over another based on the title itself. I say do any other album.

 

This was cool to watch. Too bad they didnt get to finish it.
