This is also a good instance of when something works well in context. When you bought the album and then came across a joke song right in the middle, it was kind of a funny surprise. All of these new joke songs have been released before the album even comes out. Like "Hey guys! Look at this!".

This applies to the songs you listed, of course. The others like "Family Reunion" were only live songs and the others like "Mothers Day" were bonus/secret songs. Like I said...much better context.

This has Feldman written all over it.

 

I would have laughed if this had been the first full Skiba blink song if he sang it instead of Mark.

But it's alright. It's a joke song, I chuckled and moved on. I'll reserve critiquing for when 6/8 drops

 

When does that come out?

Extra 'song' to put on the deluxe edition. So really there's 10 new songs lol.

 

Can't Get You More Pregnant and Brohemian Rhapsody should've been full songs.

At least it's not offensive, since it makes no point at all. Maybe that's the joke...

I hope they stop releasing these short turds in the near future or if that's not the case don't include them in the records.

 

Yeah I still think Mark is a really really funny dude. He's funny on social media and on tour. The joke songs can be hit or miss but that's ok

 

I like it for what it is; a joke song. I didn't expect a new banger, Mozart, or laugh hysterically stand up. It was a quick chuckle and on with the day.

 

Mark's very good sense of humor is why it's even more baffling his joke songs are so terrible.

 

I have no idea how, but it completely slipped my mind that Goldfinger had tons of joke songs on their records, too. Never thought any of those were funny either (even when I was 13).

 

I was never huge into goldfinger but didn't they have one bashing Ted Nugent? I remember my older brother playing it
