Time and time again i think that i've got tired of blink. But nope, deluxe edition coming up. Hype is growing! Looking forward to hearing their "darkest song yet" or whatever they called it. But then again, before Up All Night was released they said that it would be "post-hardcore". The let down.

 

If I don't get an experimental screamo song with shoegaze influence, I will be so pissed.

 

Just random question...but have Tom done any other features on songs than just with Say Anything?

 

I don't think so. Which is kind of strange, wonder if that's his choice or no one has really asked.

 

I feel like there has to be other features his done, but maybe not. one time I got to see him perform the sweater song with weezer when ava opened for them at msg, that was pretty cool

 

Judging by his responses to people who called him out I don't think it was :(

Billboard has it at #4, unless I'm looking at the wrong chart.

Yeah I'm listening to it a lot more than I anticipated lately for it being such a summer album. Can't believe we're getting basically another album's worth of songs so soon. Still excited for more blink.

Has Tom mentioned anything relating to the new album via social media or in recent interviews? I've been trying to find a quote but, haven't had any luck.

 

I don't know if it was real or not, but I saw something awhile ago that he tweeted about BTD sounding like Adams Song. Then the tweet was deleted, apparently.

 

doubt that was real.

i know that when radio stations starting getting their hands on "BTD" that one DJ said that it reminded him of "Adam's Song" and "Stay Together For The Kids" though.

 

i mean, DJs that got it early also called it a ballad so

 

They also couldn't tell it it was a Mark or Matt song, so cant trust em

 

So Blink is on Jimmy Kimmel tonight.

 

It would be really funny if they played BTD live on tv again.

 

It'd be cool if they made some mention of the deluxe tonight but I doubt it

 

Tom hasn't mentioned or posted about blink in months. Last post about blink was in August of a picture of him and Mark. The only comment he ever made about the album was his FB post after Bored to Death was released.

 

What a trainwreck of a post that was to.
