Oh I agree. The way they've spaced the singles you'd think TRL is still on and they aren't releasing the next song til Carson Daly retires the video.

SOOHM has been around 3 for awhile though on Alt charts so idk whatever they're doing is fine I guess haha.

Feels weird to see Skiba post stuff on Instagram about blink but nothing about the upcoming Trio shows. Maybe he will when they get closer but I wonder if fans that like Trio more than blink are starting to get the same vibes when Tom used to always post about AVA instead of blink.

 

Well, the shows are sold out so it's not like he needs to promote them right now. I think it makes sense that he's pushing Blink stuff with the deluxe version coming out soon, as well as the grammy noms. I think he'll probably be more vocal about Alk3 in a couple of weeks when the shows happen.

 

I like Trio more than blink (granted it's close, I know plenty of people that just care about Trio) but I don't get the impression people have that feeling with Matt like that. Everyone I know seems pretty understanding that nobody predicted this much of a resurgence with blink and he's just holding up his end. After the next Trio record comes out, I'm sure the balance will get on a more typical schedule.

 

Alkaline Trio fans are more mature than casual Blink fans so I'm sure they can cool their jets a lot more easily, haha.
