Blink-182 is an American rock band formed in Poway, a suburb of San Diego, California in 1992. The band currently consists of bassist and vocalist Mark Hoppus, drummer Travis Barker, and guitarist and vocalist Matt Skiba. Blink-182 is considered a key group in the development of pop punk; their combination of pop melodies with fast-paced punk rock featured a more radio-friendly accessibility than prior bands. Founded by Hoppus, guitarist and vocalist Tom DeLonge, and drummer Scott Raynor, the band emerged from the Southern California punk scene of the early 1990s and first gained notoriety for high-energy live shows and irreverent lyrical toilet humor.

Closing Time: Why More Bands Need to Say Farewell

This is the worst thing that I've ever read in my entire life.

Um, no, No Doubt is not moving on without Gwen, it's a new band entirely.

    No, just, no.

Thread seems a bit redundant, given the one for the new album. Oh well.

Do or do not, there is no try.

5 weeks seems so long, then again, 2016 is flying past for me.

Taking a gander at Matt's Instagram makes it seem like he has a significant other now. Maybe that's why he's got those derpy eyes.

Excited for the single. As Tom Petty says, the waiting is the hardest part.

    Let it run Supporter

It's weird to fall out of love with a band that literally dictated every aspect of my music listening from the ages of about 8-16 or 17. I find myself returning less and less to albums that meant a lot to me in the past. I think the biggest part of my shift away from Blink has to be the lyrics. I don't think I ever really comprehended how clumsily written a ton of their songs are, on a pure linguistic level. Like, a lot of their songs don't make sense
