Deja vu

 

I've been going through the early episodes of the podcast "155" which started as a track by track review of every blink song. I haven't regularly listened to them in a long time, but it is fun to revisit all these songs I haven't heard in years. I'm actually ranking them as I go

Also since they completed the blink discography they've shifted formats to just covering punk so adjacent things. They're doing a month on Green Day right now and have an interview with the Kut U Up guy on the most recent episode

@David Parke let me premiere my band's new Blink-182-esque track at 1:53:20 on his podcast. That makes me only one degree separated from Mark, I think?

 

Give me Mark and Travis as producers on the next record. Been revisiting their producer work lately.

 

How either of them let Neighborhoods hit shelves sounding the way it does is beyond me..

 

Hey guys! I just interviewed Travis on amp and recorded the audio so I could share. Please forgive my rookie skills, this was all spontaneous and unplanned - it’s not like you get to speak to Travis everyday. Anyway I made sure I asked about the latest blink material and when we can expect new music. He was very generous with his time and gave very thoughtful answers. Enjoy!

Tom saying this is the perfect time to release it and that it's something they need to do immediately, should probably be taken with a massive grain of salt, per usual. By the end of the year? Sure, maybe.

 

In the next 4 days? Haha what? He doesn’t say that at all.

 

I think they said "4 days" because that video was posted 11 days ago.

 

well the interview was originally posted back in October, but Tom never says "we're going to release it on the specific date of the 20th anniversary." haha. i hiiiighly doubt it'll be out by the 21st.

 

ohhhh got it. Either way...nothings fast on Tom-toime.

 

He said they need to put it out immediately on the 20th anniversary. You celebrate the 20th anniversary when it’s the 20th anniversary, at most by month. They aren’t going to say hey it’s August it’s been 20 years since BCR!
