I'm not blink 182's manager, but if I were I'd film a bunch of short form sketch clips with the band members in character and release one every three to five days until a video releases maybe two weeks later featuring those same characters. Album announcement a few weeks later with similar short clip strategy.

 

I still think this video teaser is the most creative thing this band has done.
