I recently built an Inca silver Tom DeLonge Hardtail strat using all fender parts (body, bridge, pickguard, neck, and tuners) and a Seymour Duncan invader. Cost $800 for everything. Everything was “American Made” besides the made in Mexico body.

So yeah, you can make one much cheaper. Crap, even with a progressional setup itll still be significantly less.

Yeah I'm just gonna hold out for the Starcaster's next year... $1400 is way too much for the Strat in my opinion.

It looks great! And I’m surprised they went with a Bucs shirt design and not Bolts.

 

Maybe to fit with the mermaid/sea theme of the poster would be my guess.

 

Today! I swore it was tomorrow and almost missed it haha luckily, my parking pass thing emailed me a reminder this morning.

I’m most stoked to hear Man Overboard, Adam’s Song, and Cynical.

 

So insanely stoked for tonight. I turned 30 last Saturday (blink day) and this will be my first show of my 30’s. Definitely going to get hella misty during Adam’s song.

 

If you’re on the guest list, does that include parking? I didn’t even think of this. Anyone know?

Looks like Kenny is getting the biggest crowd pop for the opener spot. He would have been awesome to have out for the whole tour. Stoked for him and he seems like a no-brainer as the opener for this tour.

Any guest list I’ve ever been on never included parking

 

My Morning Jacket included parking, so I was curious. I don't get guest listed often for arenas, so I didn't know if it was included.

 

I can’t figure out who is opening tonight for the life of me.

 

Turnstile and Kenny Hoopla

 

I knew Turnstile. But thanks for telling me about Kenny. I swear when openers were announced it wasn’t him, but I couldn’t find anything today. I heard he’s good? Should be a great show.

Kenny sadly is terrible live, or at least used to be. Could have upped the live game, but I have been severely disappointed with how he sounds every time I've seen him

 

I haven’t seen him live so I can’t speak to that. But I will say people used to say that about blink before this tour too lol

 

All of these newer bands play to vocal tracks. It is almost performative in the way DJs are. It is what it is. I am still all in on Kenny carrying the torch as one of the best pop-punk revival acts.

 

7 years since California release. Wild. May be an unpopular opinion but it is my favorite album since they reunited with Tom. Very fond memories of that album cycle. Everyone was generally cool with Matt taking over and it came before the relentless "when is tom coming back" interviews.

 

The buzz in the CA era was what had been missing from blink-182 since Untitled era. The excitement, the summer buzz, the excitement and curiosity of what they'd sound like with Skiba, and the simple fact that they were active.

 

Yes! I hope once we FINALLY get an announcement for this album that it nears that level of hype, because that was such a fun and wild time
