Well, this news frees up a Box Car Racer 20th Anniversary Tour this year.

 

BCR tour would be cool. I think a few shows would be more likely though. Play a few shows, release that new song, put out anniversary vinyl and merch, and call it a day.

 

Got around to listening to the new Avril albums. Parts I definitely liked, but this over-usage of the "Adam's Song" riff / tone is getting so played out for me. When I first heard it back on "Bored to Death" I was so excited thinking of it as sort of a callback, but now it's just getting to the point of it being a default filler in places.

 

They're broken up? I had no idea

I remember being pissed that they added 2 shows before Musink because I thought I was going to see the first show with the new lineup lol

 

Skiba had a much different look back then.

 

7 years later and Skiba looks like he doesn’t want to be there anymore…I’ll see myself out

 

Honestly can't believe it's been 7 years

 

Skiba stepped in to help keep this band going. For that I am thankful.

 

I went to the SOMA show and Musink show when he joined. I thought they sounded so good.

 

Highly recommend checking out PLOSIVS debut album. It’s Atom Willard’s new project. They’re a super group.

I can’t help but feel like this is a band Mark Hoppus wishes he were in. I actually only know about them because Mark played a song from them on his radio show and gushed all about it to Atom. There’s some +44 vibes going on here too.

 

Mark has been at Universal in Orlando like the past four days. I have passes and have considered going just to see if I run into him.

 

Leave the man in peace. He deserves some fun without stuff like that after battling cancer.

 

Mark loves meeting fans, and knows full well he’s going to run into plenty of them when he spends multiple days in a busy public space. If people are respectful in their engagements, there’s absolutely nothing wrong with trying to meet the man.

 

Oh I know! That’s why I’m not going. I don’t bother people with their families at all.
