Right lol, I'm not expecting something super edgy with Blink

 

I take descriptions of music from strangers on the internet with less than a grain of salt. It could be the most experimental record to date, but if some idiot hears drums that sound similar to the way they did on MGK's albums.... "Wtf is this commercial, sellout bullshit? Pop garbage!"

 

I remember them doing that for Darkside. The shoutey chorus is tough to pull off.

That was my thought. They literally put up vinyl the day the tour was announced, and the black one is not sold out. "Commercial sounding" is an absurd description for a pop punk band that has been on the radio their whole career. lol

 

Wow. Both sound good. Can't wait to see how Tom spices up the guitar them.

I’ve said this before but I don’t think we’ve heard Matt scream like that since Goddamnit or Maybe I’ll Catch Fire. Blew me away when he did that. Closest we got was probably Good Mourning with his blown out vocal cords.

I assume Tom can’t hit those notes and would definitely sing it more subdued haha

Pretty much every artist with a brand does the same thing. Travis was always in Famous stuff when it was active, and Mark wears his HMNIM stuff pretty regularly. While Tom goes harder than most, it is just kind of how things go.
