FUCKIN SAVAGES IN THAT FUCKIN BOX Prestigious

I think they should just be satisfied with being friends and avoid getting pissed at each other again when Tom like instantly gets distracted by other shiny things

I think that’s the perfect reason to keep Matt in the band. That way if Tom decides to take a year(s) off again they already have a fill in ready to tour/make music.

Was that the performance where (iirc) Travis and Tom got completely baked beforehand? Lol

  6. Live, if they added new stuff into more of their older songs like they do in those Pepsi Smash performances, I would be so stoked.

Ummmm, is it just me or is Mark playing a guitar and not a bass during I Miss You on that Pepsi Smash performance?!

It’s a six string bass. I forget the name of it, but they made a big deal about it back then.

It’s a Fender Bass VI. Basically the same frequency of a bass but it’s designed like a guitar. Has the high B and E strings. The strings are also closer to the gauges of a guitar rather than bass. Basically a baritone guitar on steroids.

Pepsi Smash I Miss You always gets me going. Love that ending.

Gimmie Tom back, let them tour a bit and my old ass will get drunk with my friends and have a good time there. That's all I care about

Yeah I was gonna say even the strings don't look as fat as bass strings but hard to tell with the 480p quality, haha.

  15. here's a better view of a Fender Bass VI in action

I feel like there’s no way Tom is back again. But maybe. I mostly really liked 9. But I would love another album with Tom.

I like how the way the video and the screenshot are laid out make this look like the top half of his body is tiny compared to his torso

All I would like to see is an album with Tom, Mark, and Travis equally contributing and finding a good balance of their strengths. Hopefully, they make it in one space together and I really would prefer there are no co-writers or over-production. The California Nine era was cool for what it was, but I would be really excited to see what they do as a unit in the present.

I am optimistic with Tom coming off of Lifeforms where he went all in and seemed to really enjoy being a musician again.

Kaleidoscope, Left Alone, and Pin The Grenade. Back half gems that never got the live debut they deserve. Those songs are so good. John Feldman said in an interview that Left Alone was a contender for the first single on California. It's wild to me that never got on the setlist. The chorus is so good.

I just want Blink to work with someone like Bill Stevenson and make a badass album that isn't necessarily trying to be pop radio friendly. Imagine if they made an album like Is This Thing Cursed? by Alkaline Trio? They could do it.

The fact that ITTC came out right after California blows my mind. Both have Skiba and it's all a night and day difference.

If Tom rejoins I can't wait for the next blink album in 2029 after Strange Times, Monsters of California, Lifeforms Deluxe, and the rest of We Don't Need to Whisper acoustic.

Dogs Eating Dogs was probably my second favourite Blink release so I'd be excited for more music with Tom.
