this is pretty funny and true. I think I like the title track a bit more than the When I Was Young, but otherwise it's spot on

Title track is my favorite from DED. I'll take the good +44 song over the good AVA song lol

Ok, hot take... Pretty Little Girl is my favorite song on the EP and even the bridge grew on me after a while. :bomb::rocket:

    Otherwise I agree haha

  4. The bridge is the only part of that song that I like.

I'll defend Pretty Little Girl to my death. It's probably my favorite song from the Neighborhoods/DED era.

When it first came out I gathered all my Blink loving friends in the room and was like guysssss listen to this amazing new song! and by the second verse someone told me to turn that shit off hahaha

If Tom is back I will eat a piece of paper with "blink-182" on it. I would say I'd eat a shoe but I'm scared of these rumors.

I still won't believe it til I see it.

EDIT: We got three new albums with Matt in the span of "big things coming" would've been said with Tom.

I'm in the middle of wanting him back/not. I think a 4-piece would push them to actually get stuff done.

Their talk show performances always made me want to denounce my love for Blink. Just embarrassing.

  11. The first ones on Leno after they reunited were so bad haha

That Leno performance sounded like a drunk local band.

The first 3 songs on DED are pretty good, mildly poor production aside, and the last two are super forgettable.

Listening to Ghost On The Dance Floor and 1:05-1:10 when Mark enters and harmonises "universe has lefttt meeeeeeeee without a place to goooOOOOOOoooooo" is easily one of the highlights of their career.

For the audiophiles, during that part there is also a second guitar that you can faintly hear kick in aswell. I wish they brought this up in the mix because it really adds a lot imo.

Yeah, they've been pretty cringe. I think every TV performance was decent (for blink's standards) up until the Stay Together for the Kids performance in 01 on Leno. After that, the I Miss You performances were alright, but everything else kind of sucked. After Midnight was a rare highlight for me.

I always loved the performance of Down on Letterman. Travis messes up, but kills it in the outro.

First Day on Conan was fun and I love how aggressive it sounds.

Rock Show on Letterman in 01 was another fun one that turned out well.

And then Anthem Part II live on MTV was another cool performance and the main reason I ended up getting Tom’s white strat.

I don't mind Down on Letterman, but the timing and Travis's drumming at the end is way off. I'm not sure why they played so fast in 04. Surely they noticed how sloppy they were. Down on Teen's Choice Awards is the greatest.

The Adventure on Letterman is worth it just for the "oh" faces Tom makes. Hilarious

If they do release a new album with Tom do you guys think it would continue in the vein of Neighborhoods/DED or keep with the pop-punk throwback sound of the Skiba albums?

Probably a hodgepodge of both with a random hip hop feature.
