When AvA closes their set with “Heaven” it definitely hits. It’s my favorite song is theirs I think. Blink’s “Heaven” is great too.

 

Blink's "Heaven" sounds like it could have fit right in with the +44 album.

Fucking hell Tom is coming back isn’t he

 

Either Tom is coming back or they sat on the other material so long that they ended up not liking it. They can take all of the time they want.

 

- Blink is working on the follow up to Nine
- Mark gets sick
- Tom starts knocking on the door
- Behind the scenes, they talk about him rejoining in some capacity
- Tom says "let's make a new album together"
- Everyone gets super excited and inspired, including Tom
- They decide to scrap the album they were already working on
- They try to contact Tom to figure out a schedule to write/record
- No answer from Tom
- Still no answer from Tom
- Tom's manager emails the band "Tom. Is. Out."
- No one is surprised

 

If Tom comes back I will not be nostalgic about it

 

Tom was always going to come back. It's a dysfunctional relationship but they always seem to find their way back together.

 

My understanding is they hadn't completed much at all before, they were working on stuff, but it wasn't very far along.

I don't blame Travis there because of the amount of output he deals with. Plus he probably puts an album's worth of songs together in a day. 60% to him is 5% to Mark haha.

 

Travis put down 30 drum tracks and was like I guess that's 60% right?

Haha I'm taking this as a massive grain of salt, and I think my friend was talking shit, but he works for the same management company blink is on and apparently Tom is legit back. I really don't believe him but he said it's happening *shrugs*
