I'm not comparing the two songs, but just the excitement when I first heard them: I felt similar feelings of excitement on first listens for Feeling This and Bored To Death. I remember exactly where I was for both.

  3. When I first heard “Bored to Death” I involuntarily let out a “woo!” when the chorus hit haha. I don’t think I’ve ever done that before, which is why it sticks out. Such a great jam.

Yeah, I have no idea how someone could have never heard that song on the radio. I don’t remember the last time I actually made an effort to listen to the radio myself, and I heard it all over the place. In stores, ubers, restaurants, etc.

Bored to Death should for sure be added.

I would also think they would add Up All Night, After Midnight, and possibly Darkside.

Didn’t Happy Days video get a nomination for ge video award and Blame It On My Youth Get Radio play? Not sure if Really Wish I Hated You got traction after seeing it on MNF

When I first heard it on release of Neighbourhoods I thought it was the epitome of 'let's throw this against the wall and see what sticks'.

I know I've said it a 1000+ times on here but Neighbourhoods really suffered with them not working together and also the lack of producer.

When I first heard Love Is Dangerous my first thought was it was a left over AVA song for the LOVE albums and blink/Tom needed to add another song for Neighborhoods and that’s why it’s there. I can’t be convinced otherwise.

Yeah and I remember Mark said he had to fight Tom to really tone down the electronics and make it have any semblance of a rock song lol

I've definitely heard She's Out of Her Mind in the wild and would add that.

Alt stations played Blame It On My Youth for a little while too.

Bored to Death would/should 100% be on an updated Greatest Hits. Up All Night and She's Out Of Her Mind too. But none of the other singles from the last three albums really charted.

Greatest Hits are for casual fans anyway.

  21. if the greatest hits album can have carousel, it should definitely have all of their singles that were released after that compilation came out.

If Im remembering correctly, I think when the tracklist for the Greatest Hits first came out it didn't have Carousel, and there was an uproar on the internet until it got added last minute.

I think people just don't think of them as hits cause there's no MTV that everybody watches and sees the videos multiple times a day so nothing feels as big as pre-hiatus. Cali def got a lot of play, hear those hits at the gym still
