Whoever came up with the idea that they would announce the album live tonight, I blame you for my brain going into theory mode right now.

 

Who do I gotta Venmo here for an HD rip of the stream tonight?! Venmo + some other pandemic era live streams? SOTY, Underoath, TSL, MxPx… take your pick.

 

I bet they'll say "we have a new album coming out soon! here's a new song!"

 

At the very least but I could also see a quick “this is from out new album ‘Hard at work’ coming out soon!” Or something

Everything feels very calculated this time around, so I wouldn't be surprised if there's an album announcement and/or new single announcement coinciding with tonight's performance.

 

I actually hope this doesn't happen. I don't want you to spontaneously combust.

 

If it werent for their hectic tour schedule I would've thought they'd do SNL next month. They are playing in Long Island on Saturday May 20th, so I guess they could haul ass from the show to the city. But highly unlikely, and much more probable that they play in October right before WWWY

 

there's so much buzz around tonight's performance, and with it being live-streamed, there's gonna be a lot of eyes and ears on them, so it does kinda seem like the perfect time to make an official announcement like that.............
