I'd venture to guess that Mark typically takes the reins on the stronger bridges. One thing that always bothered me a little of blink - instrumentally, they have some strong bridges. They sometimes just leave at strong vocal melodies out of those bridges

 

I can't say I keep track of which basses Mark uses for any given scenario, but could his IG story suggest he's in the studio? I'm probably crazy and just wishfully thinking.

 

Him and Travis have been up to something. Probably a collab is my guess because Matt recently posted something about writing for Alkaline Trio.

It is funny how quiet Tom has been recently.

…..I’m definitely looking too far into it, but it’s fun to do that lol.

 

When I saw Alk3 on When We Were Young fest but no blink I thought it was kinda weird and immediately thought Tom is coming back this year but maybe Matt just didn't want to pull double duty.

 

Hopefully Blink are almost done their record, and then we have a Trio record later this year. Plus Dan’s so record soon and whatever collabs the guys have. Plus I thought Travis did a vocal thing I haven’t heard about in a while.

 

also, WWWY was booked like 6 months ago, so Mark was definitely not going to say yes to a show.

I have been vibing this lately. I just feel like they are sitting on too much material to not release something though.

 

Sure but bands have done that. Scrapped it and done something else.

I agree - 30th anniversary year and 6/17/22 is the 25th anniversary of Dude Ranch.

 

they aren't going to do anything at all for that anniversary besides maybe a merch drop. haha.

1/3 of the band remains and since the band is still active, it’s not like they can pull a reunion. Plus they all seem rather busy and touring is no guarantee. Merch makes sense.
