Screen Media has acquired worldwide rights to Monsters of California, the upcoming sci-fi adventure film that marks the directorial debut for Blink-182’s lead singer and guitarist Tom DeLonge, who also wrote and performed original music for the film.

Nah I’m fine waiting until the full album is out. I hate having already heard a third of the album by the time it gets released.

Plus with Edging doing so well on the charts I doubt they will release anything that might kill the momentum.

 

yeah, with the song apparently doing so well, i'm sure they'll hold onto a second single until "edging" numbers start going down.

 

Was not expecting the second singer’s voice to sound like that. Haha.

 

Do we think Travis's tweet about Edging all of October is a tease for new stuff coming in November or just a cheeky post to get people excited? I am fine without another single for a while. At the very earliest there are still 4 months before the album drops ( at the longest 9 months or delays) I love the single and don't feel like I am in need of more songs any soon.

I played back Neighborhoods this morning and it is cemented and my Blink Fall Album. Really hoping for Mark to bring a couple of legendary bridges to this album.

 

Mark on a "Passion of the Christ"-related thing is very funny.

 

EDGING is fucking awesome and anyone who doesn't think so either hasn't listened to it enough times or just doesn't know how to have fun.

I didn't realize Tom put out a whole ass trailer with zero idea of where or when this thing was coming out lol

 

It’s not that uncommon for a movie to have funding before it finds distribution. That’s what a lot of famous film festivals are for, to show movies to industry people who may want to pick them up.

Tom had enough funding to film the entire movie and looks like they now found someone who believes in it enough to distribute it.

 

Yeah I guess that's true

 

But it’s also not that uncommon for a Tom DeLonge to hype something up before it’s even done, let alone started.

 

This is how movies get sold to studios, trailers are made to sell the film to distributors before selling to the consumers

I see this and think "wouldn't it be neat if the band did a tour with both Matt AND Tom"

Or alternatively a set where they are billed as NOFX and exclusively play covers by other pop-punk bands for maximum confusion
