This doco felt ominous once they got to Europe.

A mix of the grey weather, and that intro from Asthenia played continuously. Obviously we all know how this era ended, which probably also unintentionally gave it that feel.

 

I want to see them play their new album from front to back then do whatever after. I hope they’re making something where they’ll want to play everything.

Wow, was not expecting that when I started the doc, I recently moved back to the US after working at Bahrain International Airport for 3 years, a friend worked In the exact building they were getting briefed in at the beginning, crazy!

 

Someone really needs to have a word with the band to get all this packaged up and released in a nice anniversary box set.

It’s wild how different Tom is now while Travis and Mark don’t really feel like they’ve aged too much personality wise

 

This is awesome but I can honestly say I haven't turned the radio on in probably 5 years. Excited for them. Seems like this song is being received extremely well by the general audience.

 

Justin Vernon from Bon Iver coming in hot for Blink when his label is throwing shade.

 

People just get real goofy on every side when people get excited over something.

The fact that they broke up a couple months after this doc just sorta brings back those 14 year old emotions all over again.

it’s also very weird to see Tom transform into early AVA Tom by the end.

 

Tom shaved his head. I’ve never felt so old.

 

Oh no... he's passionate about blink and he shaved his head. We're nearing modlife crisis territory.

Edit: midlife, but it works.

 

Can’t wait to see Tom stans shave their head.

Honestly - shaved head is a good look for him. But he’s still got a good hairline so you don’t want to waste that while you have it.

Also speaking of Leo Dehoe…that Tom fan in the doc who asked Mark if he could meet Tom and they actually made it happen for him…was that Leo’s origin story?

 

I'd put all my money on his head being shaved because he got a hair transplant.

 

Ha, I thought this as well. Especially since he always has a hat on in recent years. Good for him though!
