  6. If you could ask any of the band members one question, and they had to be completely honest, who would you ask and what would you ask them?

  7. out of curiosity I dug up my email receipt for the 2011 Honda Civic Tour

Tom, have you ever heard the song Fighting the Gravity?

I’d ask Mark if he really believed no one wants to hear a 90+ minute set or if he just doesn’t feel like playing that long.

Do a lot of bands typically play a two hour plus set? I feel like that's not the average, but I'd love to be wrong.

Foo Fighters have played for as long as 3 hours

Foo Fighters, Metallica and Smashing Pumpkins are all acts I've seen several times and always at 2+ hour sets.

I think it’s more the hard line in the sand that they won’t, as opposed to changing it up depending on the tour. Usually bands at that level will do 2ish

2 hours 30 min is the average set time for foo fighters the last couple of tours

their longest set is metro Chicago 2017 went on stage at like 11:05 and played until 230 am

I get the point being made that if big names like Metallica and the Foo can play for more than two hours, then there's no reason for Blink not to, but I also feel some big "I only ever go to two hour headlining sets" energy right now.

Pearl Jam also plays for 2 hours

Yeah I think a 2 hour set is totally fair especially if there are only 1-2 openers. And especially if you’re paying $400 haha

I feel like if LINKIN park was still touring they would have crossed the 2 hour mark. Their shows were getting longer the more music they put out. The last tour they did (rip Chester) was 1 hour 45/50 min

But yeah I wouldn’t mind a 2 hour set from blink next year
