Same, I only love the American Idiot singles. Maybe it's time to try their discography again.

 

Green Day always just came off as more self-important to me so I gravitated to blink.

Me exactly. Actually that whole interview where Billy made fun of Mark and Tom during their tour for Warning was what pissed me off. Ever since then I’ve just really despised them.

It's Basketcase! One of, if not the biggest pop-punk anthems ever haha.

 

I feel like Green Day modernised and popularised the older punk sound, whereas Blink perfected the modern sound of pop-punk as we know it today.

Listened to the single a few more times yesterday with the video and now I think I know it's not the vibe I was hoping for I can enjoy it more. Its fun.

 

Edging is pretty basic, but god damn is it an earworm

 

I’m pretty confident that this is my favorite single since Feeling This.It just feels like Blink.

Revolution Radio was definitely not terrible. This summer I was on a Green Day kick and didn’t hate my time spent with RR.

Too bad they followed it up by going straight back to their trilogy quality of music.

 

I love Green Day but they haven't written a good album since 21st Century Breakdown.

Buddha a B- and Nine a D, gimme a break lol

 

Grades based on my personal experience with each album. I have a ton of fun memories with those first two records from grade/high school, and Nine just didn't connect with me at all. Glad you dug it though!
