I don’t think this is an incorrect take, but it’s sad that you have to scrape together one decent record out of three.

 

My favorite GD song since I first hit play on Warning

 

It’s top tier for sure. Nimrod -> Warning -> American Idiot was a cool evolution to witness.

 

All of this GD talk in the blink thread just reaffirms one thing…

We need Pop Disaster 2.

I don’t care how much better Green Day are live. I don’t care about the drama last time.

Make it happen.

 

Green Day has the better serious music. Blink has the better punk music. Neither have been good since 2003

Green Day still crushes live. I’ve been to a ton of festivals and somehow never caught a set.

 

This is me with Foo Fighters. I love Dave Grohl but I just never really spend much time with their music.

 

I completely get it. I have all of Green Day’s albums, B sides and most of their rare tracks. I love Dookie (was the first cassette tape I ever bought and still have it) and American Idiot. Bullet In A Bible is a fun live album. I’ve seen them live twice and loved their shows. I can find a handful of songs on each album I like (minus Dos and FOAM) but I never seem to want to listen to any of their albums from start to finish and usually if a GD song comes on random I tend to skip it. I’m never in a “hey let me just listen to Green Day” mood.

 

This has to be there biggest tour ever right?

Oh yeah, the idea that the Kardashians are secretly orchestraring the whole reunion for their personal gain is surprising common, whether ironically or serioisly.

Need to mention this after multiple listens...the clean guitar tones on Edging........it's closest thing to Jerry Finn that we have gotten from them since Jerry Finn. Nailed it. Very TOYPAJ, imo.

Only wish is that Mark's bass had more attack to it to compliment his signature sound, however, the bass is doing its job well complimenting the rest of the production with its warm/round tone. Just a personal preference.

Wonder what the numbers in the first few days/first week were for BTD and BOMY?

 

Whenever that song where Green Day goes “do you have the time to listen to me whine?” Comes on the radio, I say, “no,” and change the station.
