absolute shit show trying to get tickets for Boston wtfff

 

My place in line hasnt budged for almost 10 minutes.

 

Doesn’t the band or artist have to opt in to dynamic pricing

 

Anyway I’ll pay what I need to; I’ll probably just sell some shit on eBay to offset it lol

That is insane, I spent $370 total for 2 tickets lower bowl at UBS in Long Island.

Fuck Ticketmaster.

 

Got upper deck for MSG and Long Island. Seeing the prices change as you clicked on them was insane.

 

Yeah Toronto tickets were like 400 plus for lower bowl, ended up getting upper bowl but with fees and taxes it was 200 bucks a ticket. Jesus Christ.

I did seats in section 3 and it was $232.85 total for all 3 of them+ the fees. I'm okay being out of the crowd and back haha

 

If it says "Official Platinium" you're getting dynamic pricing. If you're getting "Admit One" "VIP" or "Standard Admission" then that's the face-value.

However, if you're in GA and there is no "Admit One" or "Standard Admission" option, wait until later in the week, as it's likely lower priced options will be made available over the course of the onsale. (That's what happened with P!ATD, where during the presale the pit was all VIP, then at the official onsale they added GA Pit tickets)

 

I mean obviously tickets were gonna be expensive but $250+ each for upper level and $350+ for lower level seems ridiculous. Maybe I’ll go on for the general sale again and suck it up and buy tix but couldn’t bring myself to do it now. This was MSG. Is Hershey or Brooklyn cheaper?

When is that Atlantic City festival being announced? Might be better off going to that and seeing them there instead

 

Like 15 minutes ago I had clicked a pair of $70 tickets for Boston that shockingly got added to my cart and when I was excitedly about to check out I realized those $70 tickets somehow changed to $150 each + $70 in fees so I bailed.

Giving up now. I'm not upset, but Ticketmaster is never not incredibly annoying.

 

My gf got floor seats right behind the pit for Pittsburgh. Let’s fucking gooooooo!!!’

 

Cleveland still has TONS of presale tickets available. I got section 126 for $109 after fees.

 

Lmao got kicked out of the queue once I hit zero. Awesome

 

Also, kind of bullshit that when you only want 1 ticket, the selection is far less. I wanted an aisle seat and when I changed the selection from 2 seats to 1, all the aisle seats (but one, which is what I got) disappeared.

 

The worst balcony seats you can get for Boston are like $225 each right now lmaooooo

This isn’t correct. Platinum tickets are their own separate thing. Ticketmaster pulls inventory, sets a price, then adjusts it based on market value as they see fit.

Dynamic pricing is real-time shifting of face value, applied to all seats. It was introduced a few years ago. The face value of the ticket can go up or down minute by minute based on live demand. It started with Taylor Swift on the Reputation tour and is now prevalent on a lot of these major shows.

 

Incredible demand across the board.

 

There are $50 tickets available for Pittsburgh as well

 

Pricing wasn't bad for this date. I was able to manage two lower bowl tickets for $94 each.

 

Gonna wait for the rest of the week's presales. Hoping for better luck, this is crazy!
