There is no way the queue system helps non scalpers get tix over bots

2000+ ahead of me in Boston as well. I'm really not sure how this system is helpful. I feel like I was always able to get decent tickets pretty easily to most "bigger" shows before they started implementing these...

 

God, I hate Ticketmaster. I’m always 2000+ in the queue. I haven’t been able to get really good tickets ever since they started these.

This system is just so dumb

 

My hypothesis is they use the queue data to scale up ticket prices. Or it's to manage server load but I think that's a cop-out.

It's not a fairness thing no matter how Ticketmaster spins it.
