I haven't listened to any AVA in the last decade so maybe that's why I'm thrown off by how different tom's voice sounds there lol

I'm digging the initial sound. I am kind of surprised that it sounds like a mid-temp alt-rock song, which I wasn't expecting them to do that as the first song back. Figured htey'd go more up tempo pop punk.

I’m very very excited for all of this but like others have mentioned I really hope California/NINE don’t get forgotten. Those albums really helped me and it would be a shame if they simply got pushed to the wayside.

Not that it’s important at this point but I would still like to hear/learn about all of those collabs and the EP that got pushed aside last year. That was odd how they talked about it so much and then Mark said “the next blink album? We…basically haven’t even started.”

Would be cool if they had a song or two with Matt on the album. Not even as a feature, just as part of the band. Don't announce it until the album releases, then have him join them on stage for the LA show or something as a big thank you.

Genuinely don't get all the love for Matt. I thought he was a terrible addition to the band and I'm glad he's out.

Idk why everybody automatically assumes they were shitty to Matt lol. His "don't know what's going on with blink" a few months ago doesn't really mean anything, guessing he knew and couldn't say anything. I doubt Mark would be shitty to him. Mark and Travis seem pretty proud and grateful to have been so productive with Matt. They can't really control what Tom wants to do while he's back (until his next hiatus lol)

But yeah it'd be nice to hear nice things from them in the near future about Skiba's era for sure
