It is a little weird now that you point that out. See You and Cut Me Off are clearly considered part of Part 2, so why bump just those two songs before Childhood? Not sure what purpose that serves (other than organizing all of the brand new songs to be last)

I mean, not that it really matters in literally any way lol but just sort of interesting.

 

Offering just the 2nd disc on its own is such a cool move, I’ve never seen that before

 

Personally just think I'm going to keep the 2 original bonus songs on the first release and then treat the 8 new songs as the separate deluxe album ala California.

 

I imagine it’s specifically so that they can offer just the songs that weren’t on the original physical release, which is a cool move tbh, but feels a little weird tracklist wise.

 

Love the cover and double LP pressing. I will probably wait to see how the new ones hit me before deciding if i’m going to scoop. 8 new songs and 27 total is wild. I was really excited to get new music in August, but waiting a couple more weeks is not bad at all. Hopefully we get a couple more podcasts, a little press for this release. Overall this rules!!!

 

A shame they didn't commit to the aesthetic of the digital artwork in time for the original pressings so the standalone would match.

I wasn’t sure about buying vinyl for this but those are some really cool options…

 

On streaming and on the digital release on their website with the bonus tracks. Basically the first week of the album digitally was the physical release mix, which is still on the CD and vinyl.

why aren't these companies using Media Mail for US orders? asking for a group of online forum friends.

 

I was going to go for the single red LP with only the new songs, but found that getting the 2xlp on Amazon came out to be slightly cheaper due to free shipping vs $10 shipping on the merch site. If I’m paying that much, might as well get the full release and save a couple bucks.

 

I hate how See You and Cut Me Out come before Childhood cause Other Side to that song is an emotional punch and one of my favorite parts of the original album.

nothing wrong with the other songs but it just ruins the flow a bit

 

Yeah I’ve been listening to those 2 after Childhood ever since they came out. For that reason I think I’m probably getting the bonus track only vinyl

 

Thanks, was gonna order 1 of each from blink182.com but went for the 2XLP on Amazon instead. Maybe I'll pick up the single red one down the line...

I was curious since Travis said 7 new songs if maybe one was a short joke one but Amazon music has the track times and they’re all full songs.
