I hope it comes with a vinyl release with the real album cover. I’ll buy that

It's crazy because we're actually not spoiled being Blink fans (thinking about my Swiftie girlfriend and much almost daily news she gets, the million new songs over the last 4 years, re-recordings, new album with 30 songs off the bat, etc)

Me: The new song is a little bland. I wish it had a little more to it.....

Also me every 15 minutes: "Maybe I'm a foooool foooor this...."

Anyone who's gone to the shows so far, have you had any issues getting the city poster?

Weekday show's suck because I'm not able to show up early, being a 39 year old with a career. lol.
But I do want the poster to put next to my Denver one from last year.

Just curious how attainable it is for the people that show up on time.

Show really was incredible last night. We sat closer on the floor so I’m not sure if it’s proximity bias, but the crowd seemed way more into it this summer than last. We sat front row behind the pit and it was a great view of the stage no matter the rotation. Lights, pyro, and fireworks were awesome. One More Time songs sounded killer and Wendy Clear is one of my favorites.

They still had them last night when we arrived around 6:30-7, but I didn’t love it enough to wait in the line or spend the money.

Hoping with a day off today that we may get a new setlist surprise for the Denver show tomorrow!

Moved from NYC to Denver in January, ready to see what the Ball Arena crowd has in store!

Blink show was rad there last year. Had to road trip from Utah to see it. First time at the Ball and loved it.

A live album is waaay overdue. There's been 6 albums since TMTTS!

  11. I'm gonna say it... most live albums really don't do anything for me.

    TMTATS was different because
    1. They didn't play to a click track (as far as I know) so the songs were loose and faster
    2. It featured high quality recordings of Travis playing pre-Enema songs
    3. All the banter was peak Blink

These days though, Blink plays to a click track, their guitar rigs are set up to sound identical to their albums, so really we'd just be getting recordings that sound more or less like their albums, but with worse vocals on them haha. Other than a Skiba song or two with Tom singing, and new banter, there'd really be no reason for a new live album from them.

    But that's just me!

Honestly kind of hard to agree. I miss how fast they used to play their songs. I know they're all way older now, so playing that fast might not be possible outside of Travis. But hearing that little clip of Going Away to College that Mark posted, man the tempo of that felt like walking in cement, compared to how I've always heard it live. haha. So yeah, I'm good without a live album as well...

I agree. The idea of a new live record does very little for me

MTATS is one of like 5 live albums that I have played more than once

As far as live albums go, making a "best of" from the two Coachella shows was good enough for me.

I would love a new live album just to get:
    1) Tom singing some Skiba tunes
    2) Travis on some more pre-Enema songs
    3) That extended I Miss You outro

  20. If we had gotten a live album in 2003/2004, when they were playing ferociously fast, adding all those cool extended bridges and stuff, I would have been stoked.

I can take or leave a live album, but it is a bit odd to me that a band of blinks size and popularity has so few professionally live recorded songs out there, especially post 2001.

I'd rather get a pro-shot DVD/stream/upload of some of the most recent shows than a live album. Imagine how sick it would have been if the TMTTS CD came with a DVD of a pro-shot concert too?

Also probably won't happen but it would be rad to get an EP of Skiba Era songs professionally recorded with Tom. I would choose:

    1. Cynical
    2. Bored to Death
    3. San Diego
    4. Darkside
    5. Left Alone

A new live album is somewhat pointless for me considering all of the pro-shot video/audio we've gotten since the Coachella reunion. Especially with them albums/songs I've been able to download from this thread, it's pretty much already a live album.

I'd much rather have a new album than a live album, but I'll take whatever I can get.

That's sort of what I was thinking. A pro-shot concert video would definitely be worth it (I know we have Coachella, but still), especially if you could get some of these rarities in there.

Maye even throw in some interviews or backstage footage and make it more of a documentary......a sort of blinkumentary, if you will.

Yeah, live albums don’t matter nearly as much when youtube exists and live performances are readily available
