Wendy Clear is such a perfect blink song. It’s a Mark song. But Tom’s main riff on that is so simple but so incredibly great.

I think you have to take whatever Tom said back then with a grain of salt. He was all over the place with excuses as to what happened but never denied any of Mark and Travis’ accusations in that Rolling Stone article. My favorite was when he claimed he was on the phone with a promoter in NY trying to book a blink show when he found out he was being replaced by Skiba. This was after he already quit the band.

 

Someone made a good point about MTYK opening with that piano and how it's right after One More Time on the tracklist, maybe it has a seamless transition, and that they actually do plan on releasing both hence the artwork and time showing up for only those tracks (and Edging) on both Apple Music and Amazon. That usually only happens for tracks about to be released

Far more likely is MTYK is the other pre-release single, which will happen sometime between the 22nd and the 20th.

 

Now that the rollout is officially moving along my excitement is hardly manageable. Like..I literally feel it in my stomach, haha.

 

Mark said on his Discord that after the Zane Lowe interview and the album, there will be no more tea left to spill or unanswered questions.

 

As much as I'd love some deep-diving into the first breakup and Tom's 2015 exit, I'm more excited for the rebuilding and how they decided to do this again. What were those initial talks like? Was it hard to navigate how it would work this time? etc.
