Mark agreeing to two hour shows and Tom agreeing to a 4 piece both seem like massive fake red flags lol.

I know I don't believe in a 4 piece happening but if so, cool I guess. Just prefer Matt only albums lol

 

I think the 4 piece makes sense. Tom is way to much of a liability these days for them to drop Skiba lol

To be fair, no one thought Taking Back Sunday was gonna do Louder Now songs when John Nolan rejoined lol.
I think Tom would suck it up, but let's be real they'll probably only do Bored to Death and maybe one other. Hell when I last saw Blink in 2019 they only did 3 Matt era songs.

2 hour set eh? Maybe playing untitled in full for the 20th anniversary and some greatest hits/rotation of deep cuts? I could dream.

 

Mark would never do a 2 hour set, that’s the less believable part over Tom coming back.

I personally have reached the point where I'd be surprised if Tom didn't come back soon, but I would be very surprised if Skiba stayed when that happened

 

Yeah this seems pretty likely to me at this point. The most surprising bit would be Skiba staying on but I'm all for it.

 

I personally don’t expect it to be anything more than the festival circuit for one summer. But who knows with this band.

 

Keeping Matt on board is a great insurance policy for when Tom goes MIA for years again.

 

Yeah, if the band wants to continue for a few more years, then they need to keep Matt on. If/when they decide to end the band, they can kick Matt out and bring Tom in for a final album/tour/whatever. If they kick Matt out for Tom with the intentions of carrying on for a few more years, we all know how that would go...

 

I will eat my own head if any of this comes to fruition.

Looks like I attended one of the longest Blink concerts ever. Nov 13, 2013 was the last date of their string of shows for the Untitled 10-year anniversary. They played the entire album, plus:

16. M+M’s
17. Mutt
18. Dick Lips
19. Apple Shampoo
20. Dysentery Gary
21. Going Away To College
22. Natives
23. Dammit (with LL Cool J)
24. Family Reunion

we got the longest encore for that string of shows. The rest of the set lists were 19 songs.

Still feel incredibly lucky I got to witness that show and it’s one of my top favorite concerts ever.

 

I don’t see why they would “end”. They can already get reunion hype by bringing Tom back. To me it makes more sense for Tom to come and go every few years versus pretending to break up like Motley Crue or Poison.

 

I'd kill to see "Apple Shampoo" live.

 

I was there and it’s definitely a top 5 show for me. Impossible to have a better setlist imo

 

They haven't played it since this show and the last time before that was 2002. I know how much of an honor that was.

The last blink show I went to (2016) they played 25 songs, though I guess 2 or 3 of them were like 30 seconds long
