I always love how people are almost a little stunned at how "weird" he is at first and then you can tell he sort of wins them over by the end. He is an odd dude, but I still love listening to him lol.

Yeah, the way he kind of paused before and during answering the question makes it seem like he didn't know how to answer but could also just be reading into it too much.

 

They hadn't announced a live AVA yet, so it seemed like he was just debating sharing that news or not. Re-recording guitars for a "live" album is nothing new to him/his bands/most bands live albums. I really don't think it's anything to conspire about.

 

Just to add some fuel to the rumor fire, I just looked at the ALK3 tour dates and they're pretty booked all summer into the fall. It is also kind of weird how quiet blink has been about any new music with Skiba.

 

on Discord/Twitch, Mark has said he's not 100% yet, so there's no plans to get back into anything yet with Blink.

 

Travis is in the hospital and Mark had cancer, but yes Matt touring with his main band is totally the problem here

 

I never said Matt touring with ALK3 was a problem? It's funny how annoyed you guys get when people speculate Tom may come back. God forbid we discuss this again when there isn't very much else going on with blink to talk about.

Sorry that I don't love blink 182.0 as much as y'all do and I want Tom to come back.

I did listen to the CO radio interview with Mark the other day and he basically said he just gets tired easily now and that will hopefully go away soon. Of course, I want all of them to be happy & healthy before they do blink again with or without Tom.

 

I'm looking forward to getting an official announcement from Mark about what he's been working on lately. From what I have gathered, it sounds like he's working on a full Blink history archival book or something. Complete tour history, recording history, etc etc. Should be really interesting, assuming that's what it is he's up to...

I'd love for Mark and Tom to write autobiographies. I'd take books over new music any day.

 

I was just trying to make the point that even if they wanted to record this summer with Skiba it would be difficult to do so. You tried to put words in my mouth by saying it was a "problem" when I never phrased it that way.
