EDIT: oops, I'm up to 52 listens. In my defense, I'll hit play on the single and it'll loop while in the car talking to my wife. We don't even realize it's on because it'll be low or whatever. The top played songs in my library are all stuff my son likes me to play in the car. A "Namaste" song we used to play to put him to bed (and he still remembers the words to) and Mickey and the Roadster Racers theme song which is actually kinda sick and pop-punk.

Remember when Tom would randomly follow and unfollow Mark on Twitter when he was still in blink and everyone would lose their shit thinking something was going on behind the scenes in the band?

Actually knowing what we know now it was probably all the times we would quit then rejoin again.

Mark was dared to write that on Tom’s photo yesterday during the Q&A, but also when asked if he and Tom were friends again his response was “haven’t you seen the urethra chronicles 2? Best friends forever.”

 

I still have mixed opinions on if I ever want Tom to come back but I will be 100% happy if they become friends (or at least friendly honestly) again

 

Just be friends with benefits. That’s my vote.

 

I feel this hard. I have my fair share of mental health issues, but last night I just finished tracking vocals for a new band I'm doing. Three songs are start-to-finish complete and they all have to do with death because that's the deepest thing that's happened recently. I don't necessarily think though you have to write about what's going on currently in your life. I mean, I have songs about being sad in college that I've written in the past couple years even though I'm pretty far removed from that point. Either way, writing lyrics is hard and it sucks and you get too self conscious about it.
