Haha fair enough. It honestly feels big because there's so much space in the room. It's just laid out kind of weird if you are anywhere but on the floor. Metro is roughly the same size, but it's a compact single open room, which makes it feel way more intimate.

 

How would this even work?

I actively avoided DBZ when it became popular so I understand absolutely none of the references but I find it fucking hilarious every time he comments.

My question is what will they play? Same stuff they did at Lola??? Maybe California in its entirety like they've said before, or some deep cuts??

I'm gonna bet everything that Blink plays the same exact set at the Metro and Lolla.

I saw Blink at that super small Brooklyn show in 2013 (only held 450 people). Not only was the set identical to their Atlantic City show a few days prior, but even the stage banter was the exact same.

 

70 minutes of HHYB with the lights off.

I saw them in an 1,800 cap where they played untitled in full + 10 deep cuts for the encore and I died

I'll be bummed if it's all singles at the Metro show, but it'll be such a unique experience to see them in a small venue again so I'm down for whatever

I'd be happy. I'd be happy if it was even half deep cuts. But I don't think Matt is going to learn random deep cuts for one show right? They'll probably only play what they've been practicing for normal shows

 

They've secretly been rehearsing for the Metro show for weeks without telling us lol

 

I highly doubt they would do deluxe in full haha they've probably rehearsed two songs from it max

 

And one of them was probably the 'joke' song...

 

it's in just a couple weeks. if they play anything but the typical set, i'll be shocked. they're the kind of band that needs to rehearse stuff way in advance in order to change up their set at all.

 

I doubt that it'll be much different, but I mean come ON. They have to play Parking Lot right? There's no way they don't play a song that literally name drops the venue they are playing in. It'd be such a missed opportunity.

 

Like others have said most likely same set, maybe change a song or two but yeah blink isn't exactly know for switching things up too much unfortunately.

 

Like how they didn't play "San Diego" IN San Diego, but they played "Los Angeles" instead? haha

 

They ended up playing it here in December (along with I Won't Be Home For Christmas!) but yeah it was so confusing when they kicked of their tour like that
