I definitely love the rest of the album no matter how much I shit on that song lol

 

I forget that album was released but I also forget goldfinger was a band. I never got into them beyond Superman and the covers.

 

Single is up on Apple Music. I just listened. this is better than my expectations. It’s not like YES TOM IS BACK! But it’s “hey maybe AvA can still put out decent music”

Yeah that's kind of my thoughts as well. That was not bad I guess, but it didn't sound like he reinvented himself by any means. haha.

The guy has a few certain musical ruts that he gets stuck in especially when it comes to the melodies. So much of it just sounds the same because he has such a limited skill set there.

 

it's like someone threw 3 or 4 AVA songs into a blender and called it a new song. Which can actually be said for a lot of AVA songs, huh?

 

In checking out Angels & Airwaves Spotify page, I discovered that the Laguna Beach soundtrack had both "The Adventure" and "When Your Heart Stops Beating" on the tracklist. Sandwiched between them was "You and Me" by Lifehouse.

 

No album announcement. Hm I was kind of expecting that
